To All Residents,
The coronavirus has severely impacted all our lives and the health of everyone must be the number one consideration in the months ahead. Based on this, the Landscape Committee has recommended, and now has the approval of the Board, to forgo any new plantings within the Bel Mare properties. This includes the annual beds located within the entry and parking areas. The concern is not knowing if our landscape contractor, White Diamond Landscape (WDL), will remain virus free during the months ahead. If even one WDL crew member contracts the virus, the obvious concern is whether WDL will have to close operations. Such a closure would not only severely impact the existing palms, trees, shrubs and turf but any new shrubs would succumb to “no maintenance” very quickly. Once this virus is not a threat, then proposed new plantings will take place.
