Holiday Cheer – Staff

At the request of several residents, this is being sent out again. There are also copies in the mail room if you prefer a printed copy.
Greetings —The end of the year is a time to reflect on where we have been, what we have accomplished, and where we are going.

If you like what you see when you look around Bel Mare, then please express your thanks to our staff with a holiday gift.

Consider what has happened since Property Manager Toni Giliberti, Maintenance Supervisor Peter Fehr, and Administrative Assistant Marie Sargeant joined us a just few months ago:
• The fountains are working for the first time in years
• Maintenance issues are being prioritized, trouble-shot, resolved, and properly completed in-house whenever possible rather than subbing them out
• Sidewalks and pavers and exteriors are cleaned and power-washed
• The property is being inspected regularly
• Work orders are being addressed promptly
• Vendors are now supervised
• Vendors who have demonstrated incompetence or unsatisfactory performance are being discontinued.
• Contracts and warranties are read and enforced
• Bills are double-checked
• Cost-saving measures are being implemented on an ongoing basis
• The management office is open all day to owners
• Lights are being strung around our palm trees to celebrate the joyous holidays
• And much more
What Toni and Peter and Marie have accomplished in a few months is astonishing, including doing at least two years of catch-up work in six months. They have reduced significant fiscal waste and are saving us tens of thousands of dollars, our property is clean, and things are working and being maintained so that they don’t break. Their skill and professional commitment have consistently exceeded the Board’s expectations and they deserve our thanks and respect.

And please remember, as well, our Guard Pete Martinez, whose watchful eye and steady hand have helped to keep us and our property safe for years.

And JaniKing janitorial staff María Soto, Pedro Milo, and Janeth Nieto, who work each day to keep things clean and help make our home a source of pride.

Please place checks in separate envelopes with the recipient’s name on it, place those in an outer envelope labeled “Holiday Appreciation,” and drop it off at the Management Office or mail it to Bel Mare Condominium, 130 Riviera Dunes Way, Palmetto, FL 34221.

Happy Holidays, and many thanks for your generosity.

Best,
Valerie Biebuyck
Bel Mare Board President
