Our 8th Annual Food Drive was a HUGE SUCCESS!!
Dear Neighbors:
“Praise be to God!” was the reaction when we delivered food and monetary donations to the Mt. Carmel Resource Center this morning! They were praying about how they were going to pay their electric bill this month…..
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for your generosity! We collected over 450 pounds of food/supplies and over $1,500 in monetary donations!!! WHAT A BLESSING to be able to provide this for our community members in need.
Everyone is invited to be present at the Food bank for the food giveaway on November 26, at 1314 2nd Ave W, Palmetto, between 10 a.m. and noon, to witness the appreciation of the recipients.
I am excited to now begin focus on our annual mission to make sure the kids at the Palmetto Boys & Girls have a happy holiday. We may have a slightly different approach this year than in prior years, so stay tuned! More information will be forthcoming shortly.
